Why does a company need Company On Net™ certificate?
Internet is a fully-developed industry and it´s value is multiple trillion dollars. Until now we had no kind of company verification system in place. To some this might seem nothing, but when we consider that in every day life we need to identify ourselves with an ID and our company with a company ID number or somewhere even with founding papers, we are taking big risks on the Internet. Internet is serious business and we must start to act accordingly.
We already have our own websites, do we need a Company On Net™ Verified Page?
Yes. Your commercial websites are to present your company in the best way possible with pictures and text. The Verified Page confirms that there actually is a company that stands behind these websites which can take responsibility. It is your company ID, while commercial websites are your marketing material.
Is the Verified Page a substitute for our own website?
Although some companies will take the eCard and have a Verified Page as their main page, the function of the Verified Ppage is not to substitute the commercial websites but to complement them. As stated in previous answers, Verified Page is your company ID and must be presented as such.
Can we buy Company On Net™ certificate although we do not have our own website?
Yes. You can buy an eCard which is half the price of the Basic certificate and only contains the Verified Page.
