Company On Net™ has received an award at the European conference about information security
The non-profit organization for the Promotion of Trustworthiness of Information and Communication Technology, TeleTrusT, has given Company On Net™ the TeleTrusT innovation award. It was given in Madrid at the annual ISSE conference.
Company On Net™ verifies the identity of a company on the internet and is therefore the first product which connects the identity of the company in every day life with its identity on the internet. This sort of verification brings many advantages, both to companies and to the other internet users. The liberal nature of the internet, which has many positive sides, also brings some negative issues. The most obvious is the inability for the website owners to identify themselves. Two main consequences are a basic distrust on the internet and the monopolization of the internet, since visitors only trust the largest and the most known companies.
With on-line company verification, Company On Net™ increases the credibility of all companies on the internet and thus increases visitors' trust as much as is possible. Unlike the competition, Company On Net™ only covers technological part of the verification system. The actual verification is performed by local authorities and independent organisations, such as Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Coface, a well-known and respected global credit rating company. Besides verification and anchoring a company on-line, Company On Net™ also provides the possibility of posting credit and financial reports as well as verification of 3rd party external certificates (ISO, Microsoft Partner, ... ).
The goal of Company On Net™ is a friendlier internet for both companies and individuals. You can read more about the Company On Net™ advantages for the internet users and companies on www.company-on.net.
